As college inches closer and closer, I have been looking into purchasing a new laptop. There are many options to choose from but the MacBook Air sticks out the most to me. I am just your average high schooler, so I don’t really know much about laptops, but I have only heard good things about the MacBook Air. It is said to have all the qualities I am looking for in a laptop. This laptop is at the top of my list when looking for a college computer.
The MacBook Air is a sturdy and reliable laptop for a college student. They are light weight and easy to take on the go! The MacBook Airs only weigh 2.8 pounds so it would be perfect when moving from class to class. So, will the MacBook Air be my future college computer? I was truly sold on the MacBook Air when I saw the battery lasts up to 18 hours! The average laptop battery lasts around 1.5 to 4 hours so this would be a game changer! Because I already own apple devices, getting an apple computer would be very convenient since I already know how the system works and I can transfer all the data from my iPhone onto my laptop.

It is also designed with the Apple M1 chip allowing this laptop to have 8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. Another great quality this laptop has is the 8GB of unified memory it has. For any college student, lots of storage is very necessary. The MacBook Air can have up to 512GB of storage but also has an option for 256GB of storage. These numbers are all based on personal preference depending on how much storage you think you will need. There are so many good qualities that come with this laptop! Another being the touch ID sensor, just like the older models of iPhone have. This can be very useful for easy access to your computer. The MacBook Air has 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 wireless networking and is IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac compatible. This laptop is built with macOS, which is now the most advanced desktop operating system in the world.
This laptop of course has everything that your iPhone has including Facetime and IMessage. It has built-in support for vision, hearing, mobility, and learning so anyone can use it. The MacBook features all the built in apps an iPhone has too. For the price of $999-1249, depending on the amount of storage you prefer, you can own a MacBook Air. This laptop may be on the more expensive side compared to other laptop brands but believe that they are worth the money. They are known to last around 2-4 years but from what I have heard they will last you much longer and, in the end, will save you money. This laptop comes with the 0W USB-C Power Adapter and 2m USB-C Charge Cable. So, you do not have to make any separate purchases to own and use this product. Apple has taken the average laptop to a whole new level with the MacBook Air. I believe this easy to use, high powered device is the perfect college laptop for me!
